Brief History of
Greater Light
Greater Light Montessori School, established in May 2013 and registered as a limited liability company with Prof Gyasi-Sarpong and Miss Angela Osei as Directors, replaced Unique Pearls Montessori School. The Ghana Education Service (GES) granted Greater Light Montessori School authority to commence operations under registration. The school began with Miss Patience Twumwaa as Headteacher and Miss Eva Mintah as a creche teacher, along with one pupil. In 2010, the school initiated its 5-year development program, which includes introducing software development (Coding) and expanding school infrastructure to accommodate growth, including an Information and Resource Centre and ICT lab. By God’s grace, the school reached Basic 9.
